Dels is a 'hip-hop' pseudonym of 'Kieren Dickins'. His eclectic influences span 'two-step garage' (from a membership band as a teenager) and 'Joe Goddard' ('Hot Chip'), his long-standing creative partner. The resulting product is a unique mishmash of squelchy bass lines, tinkering keys, syncopated drum patterns and the occasional steel pan, all juxtaposed by Dickins’ infectiously languid flow. Having been discovered at the tender age of 16 by 'John Peel', Dickins continued to make music whilst developing his natural artistic ability as a graphic design & illustration student.
