Since the response to our aerial poster and the related garbage collection has sadly been on a constant decline in the last few years, we have decided to stop handing out the “garbage posters” on site.
We would still like to appeal to your environmental consciousness though and ask you to leave your garbage in the bag that will still be provided for free at your camping space (there won't be a garbage collection point any more). This will not only make the job easier for our cleaners, but you will also help us keep the costs of the camp area down. Please remember, keeping the site clean is still a main priority for us.
If you would still like to have an aerial poster of SUMMER BREEZE 2013, you may order it from our online store at www.silverdust-shop.de, where we will offer a limited number when the ticket pre-sale for SUMMER BREEZE 2014 starts. This way you can also make sure that the poster will make it to your home undamaged. Should the garbage situation improve, we are definitely open to thinking about giving away some swag again in the future.
This year there's going to be a few changes to the free bus shuttle between the festival site and Dinkelsbühl.
On Wednesday (14.08.), the day most people arrive, there are going to be shuttle buses running between the festival site and the Schiesswasen bus stop from 10:00 to 20:00 in order to guarantee a smooth arrival for those traveling by bus and train.
On Thursday (15.08.), Friday (16.08.) and Saturday (17.08.) the buses will run between the ALDI supermarket and the festival site from 8:00 to 20:00. For those wishing to visit the old town of Dinkelsbühl, this only means a very short walk.
On Sunday (18.08.), the day most people leave, the buses will again run from the festival site to the Schiesswasen bus stop, in order to guarantee a smooth connection to the local bus and train services.
We woulkd like to thank ALDI supermarket in Dinkelsbühl, without whom the free shuttle service would not be possible.
People like to call them avantgarde black metal, but the Mainz band isn't really comfortable with that label. Whatever you want to call them though, fact is NOCTE OBDUCTA will present their brand new album 'Umbriel (Das Schweigen zwischen den Sternen)' live at SUMMER BREEZE 2013. All disciples of gloom can look forward to an uncompromising experimental show with a dense armosphere and a whole load of melancholy, but (hopefully) also an excursion into the Germans brutal past. However, no matter which songs get played, no one will crawl back into their tents disappointed after the NOCTE OBDUCTA show in Dinkelsbühl.
Family reunion at SUMMER BREEZE: Freddy Cricien, half brother of Agnostic Front singer and hardcore legend Roger Miret, will appear in Dinkelsbühl with his brutal troop MADBALL. The New York hardcore stalwarts are bringing loads of stage action and the heaviest of hardcore, so all you divers and moshpit enthusiasts out there better get ready! In top form – only recently they headlined the successful Rebellion Tour 2013 – Cricien and company will (hopefully!) deliver a selection of their discography's best songs. Although MADBALL always kill, no matter what they play! D'accord?!
Unfortunately we have to inform you that EMMURE have cancelled their appearance at SUMMER BREEZE 2013. Our apologies to all those who were looking forward to seeing them. We will not rest until we can book the band again for SUMMER BREEZE in the years to come.
The good news: We have already managed to find a replacement. We will announce this band tomorrow. Stay tuned!
