Nothing is more exciting than to see talented musicians come together and create music together. It applies not only to the public. It also applies to musicians. Young Dreams is not about the Good pop songs ™, it's about the good pop songs, in unison. Good friends around him. Young Dreams is all about finding great moments together.
There are several aspects of life where such a common bond with each other reinforces what you see, hear, taste, smell and feel, love, fear, wonder and hope. The desire to not die. The desire to live. There is however not a single point in a person's life where all this seems to be just as magical and overwhelming as when you are young, knowing that the majority of his life stands before you. This is something we have or have had, in common all. You and me. You and your friends from school. You and your colleagues. You and your classmates. Teachers. Drivers. Firemen. Musicians. Young Dreams.

In 2010, Young Dreams uploaded three songs to Facebook: "Young Dreams", "Flight 376" and "Expectations". The songs touch on all these issues, the youth, the transitory and not knowing what's ahead. Such themes are worth zero if not the music is interesting, if not the songs reach out to people. Fortunately, the response was overwhelming, and the band soon got requests from near and far, but has chosen to relate to Bergen and Tellé Records. Music journalists and bloggers wrote about these songs, among other things, The Guardian, XL Recordings's website and NRK Lydverket editorial. This despite no releases and little information. There was music, uplifting enough. Slowly but surely, the information leaked out: Members of Casiokids, The Megaphonic Thrift, Put Your Hands Up For Neo-Tokyo, The Alexandria Quartet and Matias Tellez and Rune Vandaskog, as the closest to a front man. A sort of "super group", if it is allowed to say such a thing today. Soon their first releases, two 7 "vinyl singles with two songs each. This music is a beautiful blend of old and new expression also represents the single this association.

Although they feature artists such as Van Dyke Parks, The Beach Boys, Edvard Grieg, Igor Stravinsky on their list of musical references. Musically, the result of folding and unpolished symfonipop with tropical undertones. Young Dreams are ready to share their dreams with the rest of the world.
