School is Cool is a freakfolk//indie band formed in Antwerp, Belgium in 2009. School is Cool brings you adventurous indiepop that refers to Pixies, Paul Simon, Kate Bush, Arcade Fire, Vampire Weekend, The Dodos... After winning Belgium's biggest rock contest Humo's Rock Rally 2010, the Antwerp-based quintet played more than 60 festivals in Belgium and Holland last summer including Dranouter & Pukkelpop. Their first single 'New Kids In Town' was one of the biggest hits of 2010 (six weeks on number 1 in Belgium's biggest alternative hitlist "De Afrekening" on Studio Brussel). 'In Want Of Something' was the first single off their debut-album, Entropology which was released late 2011.
